eWWG organized the Kaduna State Emergency Nutrition Action Plan (KADENAP) Stakeholders Summit in collaboration with the First Lady of Kaduna State, January, 2017
- The United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF has claimed over 2.5 million Nigerian children were suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM), warning that 20 percent of the number could die if urgent steps were not taken to address the issue.
- In this light, the Wife of the Governor of Kaduna State, Her Excellency, Hajia Aisha (Ummi) Garba El-Rufai, has chosen to champion this critical initiative for the Kaduna State Government and has taken the bull by the horns in confronting this serious issue by launching the Kaduna State Emergency Nutrition Action Plan to Tackle Malnutrition in collaboration with eWWG.
