Dr Salma Abbasi, Chairperson and CEO, eWorldwide Group, delivered the keynote ‘Innovation 4.0’, during the opening session of the STEM and Creativity Fest. in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Dr Salma emphasized that there are huge diverse opportunities for youth from the ‘4th Industrial Revolution’, which are embedded in the innovations that are fusing and integrating the physical, digital and biological spheres. She also stressed the need for Governments, Educational and Financial Institutions to update their policies and practices to ensure that holistic enabling environments are created for ‘start-ups and entrepreneurs’ to evolve and flourish across all sectors, particularly across the Agriculture value chain in Africa.

eWWG organized the Kaduna State Emergency Nutrition Action Plan (KADENAP) Stakeholders Summit in collaboration with the First Lady of Kaduna State, January, 2017

  • The United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF has claimed over 2.5 million Nigerian children were suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM), warning that 20 percent of the number could die if urgent steps were not taken to address the issue.
  • In this light, the Wife of the Governor of Kaduna State, Her Excellency, Hajia Aisha (Ummi) Garba El-Rufai, has chosen to champion this critical initiative for the Kaduna State Government and has taken the bull by the horns in confronting this serious issue by launching the Kaduna State Emergency Nutrition Action Plan to Tackle Malnutrition in collaboration with eWWG.
