Working with Kaduna State Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education to design, build and implement a holistic school health initiative to proactively raise awareness of infectious diseases to build resilience for students, mothers, and teachers.

This model created a robust integrated system that provides access to clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, recycling water system to create mini school farms and increased awareness of nutritious seasonal foods to ‘inspire young healthy farmers’. This unique model links primary healthcare centres with local schools and community stakeholders to build trust and drive proactive learning and awareness of environmental health and related diseases.
 
In 2016, the Governor H.E. Nasir El Rufai and his wife visited one of the PADID locations prior to its hand over to the local school.
